So Who Am I?

I’m JAKE! and I’m a designer working at Google. Previously, I managed the front-end development team at Wildfire Interactive, and in a past life, I studied Visual Communication at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.

When I’m not knee-deep in Photoshop layers, I’m busy leading my team in larger initiatives and quarterly goals through the use of terrible puns. Feel free to reach out for freelance projects or other consultative ideas.

Find out more on my about page.

Case Studies

I’ve had the opportunity to work closely with these companies on some very involved projects. Read more here.

Selected Work

Here's a small sampling of my print design, web development, photo retouching, and hand drawn illustrations. See more examples on my portfolio page.

Get in Touch

Let’s talk about your next big idea! Drop me a line about your logo, design, website, illustration, or app project need and I'd be happy to help out. Creative briefs, deadlines, and other information always encouraged.

If the project is small and you can’t pay in cash, I definitely will work for sushi. Here’s a link to my yet-to-be-conquered list in San Francisco. If you can’t pay at after the project is complete: I break thumbs.
